MEET DEENA CARY

Deena Cary is a high-energy singer and dancer who
has entertained professionally for decades on
television and stages all around the world.

Born and raised in Cedar Rapids, lowa, she began her
singing and dancing career in Los Angeles upon
graduating high school.

She found success touring with Harley biker events
as the lead singer for the performance group “The
Purrfect Angelz,” opening for artists such as Trace
Adkins, Earth, Wind & Fire and Big & Rich.

In 2004, Deena joined a cattle call audition of nearly
600 girls to become the 6th member of the now-
famous pop group “The Pussycat Dolls.”

She made it to the top 20 along with Melody
Thornton, who the role ultimately went to.

In 2006, Deena left Los Angeles briefly to work for
the NBA, dancing and choreographing as a Phoenix
Suns Dancer.

While in Phoenix, she was scouted by an independent record label back in LA. Upon singing the “National Anthem” during her audition, she was hired as the 5th member and co-lead singer of
“Sweet88,” a pop group comprised of all former NBA dancers. In 2010, Deena moved to Las Vegas, where she has had much success performing in over a dozen productions, including Raiding the Rock Vault, Legends in Concert, Purple Reign and Cash After Dark: A Johnny Cash Tribute.

She is one of the 5 founding members of “Spice Wannabe,’ a Spice Girls tribute show where she represents Victoria Beckham/Posh Spice. Deena prides herself on having a wide vocal range, singing both alto and soprano. In her free time, she enjoys volunteering with dog rescues, working as an Esthetician at a spa, and making herself and others laugh.
